360° Video Analysis
360 degree videos, also known as surround or immersive or spherical video, are video recordings where a view in every direction is recorded at the same time, shot using an omnidirectional camera or a collection of cameras. Delta Software Solutions playbacks this panorama view, process videos and turn into accurate traffic data. Few of our clients uses 360 degree cameras especially for big roundabouts, where multiple standalone cameras needs to be installed to capture full turning counts. Processing videos from multiple cameras for big roundabouts, where islands are huge is a tedious job, because each vehicle needs to be tracked right from origin leg entry to destination leg exit through different camera lens. But life is easy (extraction makes easier and field technicians job becomes easier, there is no need to install multiple cameras at bigger roundabouts/junctions, instead just a single 360 degree camera does the job).
